COLLEGE PARK, MD. – Four falls led to West Virginia’s second-lowest score of the season in a 193.775-192.975 loss at Maryland Friday night at the Comcast Center.
Dinorh Boyd led the Mountaineers with an all-around score of 38.75 to claim top honors. The senior also won the beam with a score of 9.85.
Amanda Halovanic scored a 9.85 to win the vault.
Other top performers were TeShawne Jackson on bars with a season-high score of 9.85 and Jessica Bartis on vault with a season-high score of 9.725.
The Mountaineers, now 5-3, return to action this Sunday at the WVU Coliseum to take on Penn State and Rutgers in a tri-meet set to begin at 2 p.m.
Maryland improves to 4-6 with the win.
