MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's basketball team (12-8, 1-8) travels to Piscataway, N.J., for a 7:30 p.m., contest with Rutgers on Wednesday, Feb. 12, (14-5, 7-2) at the Louis Brown Athletic Center.
The Mountaineers enter the contest looking to rebound from their 78-58 loss at Georgetown last Saturday, and hoping to snap Rutgers' eight-game home win streak.
The Scarlet Knights are led by sophomore Cappie Pondexter, who averages 17.3 points a game, and have only lost to No.1 Connecticut and Virginia Tech in conference.
Following the contest at Rutgers, West Virginia returns home for a 2 p.m., game against Miami on Saturday, Feb. 15, at the WVU Coliseum.
