MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The WVU volleyball team will travel to Coral Gables, Fla., to take on BIG EAST foe Miami on Friday, Oct. 31, at 7 p.m., and will then make the trip to Blacksburg, Va., to face Virginia Tech on Sunday, Nov. 2, at 2 p.m.
The Mountaineers (6-16, 2-5) have won three of their last five matches despite playing without the help of their top offensive threat, sophomore Stephanie Zolna, who has been hampered by an ankle injury.
Fellow sophomore Kelly Mullins has stepped up in Zolna's absence, amassing five straight double-double matches including a 14-kill, 16-dig effort in a 3-1 victory over Seton Hall on Oct. 26.
Senior Dimitra Havriluk is among the team leaders in kills and digs and notched 14 kills and 24 digs against Seton Hall.
The Mountaineers will travel to Pitt on Nov. 7 before finally returning home to face Notre Dame on Nov. 15.
