MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Season tickets for West Virginia's 2003-04 basketball season will go on sale Wednesday, October 15, athletic director Ed Pastilong announced today.
The Mountaineers will play 13 games at the WVU Coliseum, including eight BIG EAST contests and seven weekend games. BIG EAST conference rivals Georgetown, Virginia Tech, Boston College, Seton Hall, St. John's, Villanova, Pitt and Syracuse, plus five additional non-conference teams, will all visit Morgantown this season.
The price of a season ticket is $195. It is a savings of $16 versus the cost of purchasing each ticket individually.
Mountaineer Athletic Club members and past season ticket holders must order their tickets by November 3 to reserve priority seating. Order forms are being mailed to MAC members and past season ticket holders. Faculty/staff can purchase up to six season tickets at the discounted price of $156 each.
The popular Six-Pack Flex Plan will again be offered. Fans can purchase six coupons good for any game on the schedule for just $55. All six coupons may be used for one game, or at six different games.
WVU is also featuring the BIG EAST mini-package, which offers six BIG EAST games (Virginia Tech, Boston College, Seton Hall, St. John's, Villanova and Syracuse) for just $96.
