Football: Gridders Set For All-Star Games

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- Several West Virginia University football players have accepted invitations to play in postseason all-star games.
Tailback Avon Cobourne will play in the East-West Shrine Game on Saturday, Jan. 11, at San Francisco’s Pac Bell Park. The kickoff is set for 2 p.m. Eastern time and the game will be televised by ESPN.
Linebacker James Davis, defensive lineman David Upchurch and offensive lineman Lance Nimmo will play in the Rotary Gridiron Classic, presented by Tyco, at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando on Saturday, Jan. 25. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m Eastern time and the game will be televised by ESPN2.
