MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University men's tennis team (0-1, 0-1) is set to take on No. 24 Ohio State and DePaul this weekend in Columbus, Ohio, at the Jesse Owens West Recreation Center.
WVU will face the Buckeyes at 4 p.m., on Saturday, Feb. 1, and the Blue Demons at 10 a.m., on Sunday, Feb. 2.
The Mountaineers are looking to rebound off a 7-0 loss at No. 35 Virginia Tech last weekend.
The lineup will remain the same for the squad, with sophomores Eric Kochanski, Tony Epkey and J.R. Randall manning the top three slots followed by senior Chris Green, sophomore Julian Mesa and freshman Kyle Markham.
The No. 1 doubles duo of Epkey/Kochanski will look to further their recent success after defeating the No. 44-ranked doubles team in the nation of Rod/Laulund from Virginia Tech last weekend.
"Ohio State is an extremely good team, as good as they've had in a long time," said Coach Ed Dickson. "We need to play much better than we did against Virginia Tech last weekend, a match that we could have won if a few things went our way. Our goal this weekend is just to play good for us and then see what happens."
