MORGANTOWN, W.VA. – For those of you interested in following the Mountaineer football team this fall on the road, the WVU Alumni Association is offering some great and inexpensive packages for you to take advantage of.
For West Virginia’s game at Wisconsin on Saturday, September 7, the Alumni Association is offering two different two-night tours and two different three-night tours.
Two-night tour package one includes round trip air transportation from either Pittsburgh or Charleston to Milwaukee, two-night hotel accommodations at the Madison Concourse Hotel, Friday night cocktail party, round-trip transportation to the stadium, a reserved game ticket, souvenir gift and pre-game hospitality.
Two-night tour package two includes a special rate for those who wish to travel to Madison, Wis., on their own.
Extra features for the three-night tour includes a tour of Milwaukee, a Milwaukee river cruise and lunch aboard the Edelweiss and a tour of The House of the Rock.
The following weekend at Cincinnati, the Alumni Association is offering a round-trip accomodations via Amtrak for the special price of just $355 per person. Travelers will leave Charleston on Friday, September 13, and return on Sunday, September 15.
Included in the trip are two nights lodging at the deluxe Cincinnatian Hotel, round-trip transportation to the game, a reserved game ticket, and admission to the pre-game rally at Bearcat Village.
The local West Virginia University Alumni Chapter in Cincinnati is hosting a pre-game rally at Bearcat Village and tickets can be purchased in advance for $25 by logging on to the web site www.MidwestMountaineer.com.
