Preseason Notebook: Temple has the
most returning starters of any Big East team on offense with 10, including
league-leading wide receiver Sean Dillard. Dillard averaged 4.6 receptions
per game and was second in the conference with 747 receiving yards.
Temple, which will play one more season in
the Big East football conference before being replaced by Connecticut, lost
all seven of its games last year to bowl-eligible teams. The group had a
combined winning percentage of 75 percent.
