Swimming and Diving: WVU Set for Notre Dame

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University swimming and diving team is set to compete in the Notre Dame Invitational on Thursday, December 5 through Saturday, December 8, in South Bend, Ind.
The Mountaineers will be joined by Notre Dame, North Dakota, Wyoming, Denison (Ohio), Louisville, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Hillsdale (Mich.), Bowling Green, Iowa and Northern Michigan in the meet.
West Virginia (5-3 women, 4-3 men) is coming off a sweep of BIG EAST foe Seton Hall on Nov. 16.
"We want to have a strong outing at Notre Dame," said coach Eric McIlquham. "Our primary goal is to make all of our BIG EAST cuts this weekend. The format of the meet is almost identical to the actual BIG EAST meet itself, so it will give us a good feel of what's to come."
