Women's Basketball: WVU to Take on Ohio

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University women's basketball team (6-0) will travel to Ohio for a non-conference matchup with the Bobcats on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 3 p.m., at the Convo center in Athens, Ohio.

The Mountaineers enter the game a perfect 6-0 and look to extend their school-record, season-opening win streak with a victory. West Virginia most recently defeated Robert Morris 114-45 at the Sewall Center on Dec. 7.

Ohio is currently 1-5 on the year, and plays Ohio State tonight prior to the visit with the Mountaineers.

West Virginia leads the series with the Bobcats 6-0. Last season, the Mountaineers defeated Ohio by a 83-62 margin at the WVU Coliseum.
