Football: Tech Award Winners

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- The following West Virginia University football players were selected as weekly award winners by the WVU coaching staff for their play in the 21-18 win over Virginia Tech:

Offensive Champion -- DERRICK SMITH; Defensive Champions – BRIAN KING and TIM LOVE; Special Teams Champion -- THANDI SMITH;

Scout Team Champions – ERICK PHILLIPS(offense); JEREMY SHEFFEY(defense); Hammer Award – JAMES DAVIS.

West Virginia travels to No. 17 Pitt for a 1 p.m. game on Saturday, Nov. 30, at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh.

Graduation photos are being offered at Milan Puskar Stadium in May 2026 at certain rates.
