Women's Tennis: Fall Ending Tournament

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University women's tennis team will compete in the Southern Championships on Nov. 1-3, in Columbia, S.C. This will be the Mountaineers' last tournament of the fall.
Attending the tournament for the Mountaineers will be freshmen Melissa Day, Katherine Koontz and Raynie Theis, junior Jennifer Watkins and senior Anna Marie Underwood.
"It will be a good chance for the girls to play against teams from the south,"Coach Dan Silverstein said. "We look to end our fall season on a good note and possibly win some individual titles."
Appalachian State, Clemson, Costal Carolina, Presbyterian College, UNC-Ashville, host South Carolina, Western Carolina, WVU and Winthrop will compete in the three day competition.
