Rifle: WVU Hosts Mountaineer Open

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The West Virginia University rifle team will host the Mountaineer Open on Nov. 2, at the WVU Rifle Range in Morgantown, W.Va.

"I think everyone is very ready to shoot," Coach Marsha Beasley said. "We have been practicing since the second week of September so it will be good for the team to finally shoot in a real match."

The open tournament will feature members of the WVU rifle team as well as individual entries from clubs and high schools across the state. The Mountaineers' scores will be used toward All-American consideration.
