Baseball to Hold Open Tryouts

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The West Virginia University baseball team will hold walk-on tryouts for the 2017 season on Tuesday, Sept. 26, for WVU students interested in joining the team.
The tryout will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET and last approximately one hour. The workout will take place at Monongalia County Ballpark. Students must attend the workout in athletic gear in order to participate.
Interested students must be enrolled full-time (minimum of 12 credits each semester) at WVU and have remaining NCAA eligibility.
The following five (5) items listed below must be submitted by each student prior to trying out for any of our WVU athletic teams to the WVU compliance office at the WVU Coliseum by Sept. 25:
1. WVU Compliance Walk-On Tryout Form (Click Here)
2. Proof of Medical Insurance
3. A copy of a physical conducted within the past six months.
4. Proof of full-time enrollment at WVU Main Campus. (A course schedule from the student's WVU mix account showing their total number of academic credits.)
5. Proof of prior Sickle Cell Test or sign the WVU Sickle Cell Form Waiver (Click Here)
