
Heredia-Beltran Called Up to Mexico’s Youth National Team

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Recent graduate Dilary Heredia-Beltran of the West Virginia University women's soccer team was called up to participate in training camps and friendly matches with the Mexican U-23 Youth Women's National Team.
Heredia-Beltran traveled to Mexico City for a pair of friendlies against the Dominican Republic on June 28 and July 2. Earning the start on July 2, Heredia-Beltran helped Mexico top the Dominican Republic 3-0.
Hailing from Wichita, Kansas, Heredia-Beltran was a four-year starter for West Virginia, playing in 81 career matches and starting all but one of them. She scored 11 career goals and was a true quarterback of the Mountaineer offense with 19 career assists. She finished her WVU career with 41 points and 5,513 minutes played.
Heredia-Beltran was honored on the Big 12 All-Freshman Team, the United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Region Third Team and the TopDrawerSoccer Freshman Best XI Second Team in her inaugural season with the Mountaineers in 2021. In 2022, she was recognized on the All-Big 12 Second Team and the Big 12 All-Tournament Team after helping WVU secure its 18th conference championship as the 2022 Big 12 Tournament Champions. She also received two nods as the WVU Student-Athlete of the Week during her career.
