Ann Griffin Mohammadi was appointed an educational counselor with Student Services in January 2012. Her responsibilities include developing a supportive, individualized approach for assisting student-athletes academically.
From March-December 2011 she served as an interventionist at Mountaineer Middle School where she provided instruction and performance support to numerous students while using diagnostic assessment and benchmarking tools to determine progression and deficiencies. She also helped develop and implement instructional goals and intervention models.
Mohammadi also has experience as an academic mentor with West Virginia University. From 2006-2010 she was responsible for providing guidance and academic support in multiple aspects of course work including time management, organization, assignment completion, effective class preparation, study skill development and successful test taking strategies.
Mohammadi received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology/Secondary Education from Adelphi University in 1985 and her Master’s Degree in Community Health Promotion/School Health Education from West Virginia University in 1997.
