Danielle “Dee” Eppinger is the associate director of compliance at West Virginia University. She previously was WVU’s assistant director of compliance from July 2013-June 2014.
In her current role, Eppinger is responsible for monitoring all recruiting activity, complimentary admissions, camps and clinics. She also ensures that WVU athletes comply with NCAA and institutional rules and regulations, and assisting in rules education sessions with student-athletes, coaches and staff.
Eppinger was a graduate assistant in the WVU Compliance Office from July 2011 to June 2013. During that time, she earned a master’s degree in sport management from WVU in May 2013.
Prior to coming to WVU, Eppinger was an intern in the compliance office at Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pa., from May 2010 to May 2011.
Eppinger received her bachelor’s degree in sport administration with a minor in business in May 2011 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). While there, she participated in the international student exchange program for one semester, studying sport business management and sport studies at the University of Worcester in the United Kingdom. Eppinger was named the Most Outstanding Sport Management student at IUP in 2011.
A native of North Wales, Pa., Eppinger was a four year student-athlete in softball at IUP. She also participated in club soccer during her semester stay at the University of Worcester.
