Bryan Deem works with the maintenance of West Virginia University’s athletic facilities, including Milan Puskar Stadium, WVU Coliseum, Caperton Indoor Practice Facility, Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium, WVU Wrestling Pavilion, Cary Gym, Natatorium, Shell Building, Hawley Field, Mountaineer Track, tennis courts and all practice fields.
He supervises a staff of nine who assist him in the day-to-day operations and preparations for athletic events in all 17 Mountaineer sports. Deem is also directly involved in the department’s on-going capital projects, including the construction of the new basketball practice facility.
Deem joined the WVU staff in 1986 after working as an electrician for three years and eight years as a mechanic and heavy equipment operator.
A native of Parkersburg, W.Va., Deem and his wife, Denise, have two sons – Zachary and Derek.
