Muldrow Earns AP All-America Honorable Mention

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – West Virginia senior forward Teana Muldrow has been named a 2018 Associated Press All-America Honorable Mention, as announced by the publication on Monday.
"Teana means everything to this team," coach Mike Carey said. "She's a leader, both on and off the court, for us. Teana has always done whatever we've asked of her and is the key to us being successful. She's put together a tremendous career at WVU and it's great to see her receive this recognition as a senior."
A 2018 All-Big 12 First Team honoree, Muldrow is finishing a stellar senior campaign for the Mountaineers. She leads the team and ranks among the Big 12's best with 18.9 points and 8.7 rebounds per contest. The East Orange, New Jersey, native has tallied 679 points this season to move into fifth place all-time in the WVU single-season record books. She is currently one of five national finalists for the 2018 Cheryl Miller Award, presented to the nation's top small forward.
The all-time leader in games played, Muldrow will cap her WVU career ranked in the program's all-time top five in career scoring, rebounding, double-doubles and blocks. She ranks in the all-time top 10 in field goals made, field goals attempted and offensive rebounds.
Most recently, Muldrow dropped a career-high 33 points to lead WVU to a win over St. John's in the 2018 Postseason WNIT, setting a new WVU postseason single-game record for points scored. The Mountaineers will host Virginia Tech in the WNIT Semifinals on Wednesday in a 7 p.m. tip at the WVU Coliseum
