Women’s Basketball Game Times Announced

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (Oct. 3, 2017) – As the West Virginia University women's basketball team returns to the court for its first day of practice, remaining home tipoff times have been announced for the 2017-18 season.
The Mountaineers unofficially open the season on Oct. 29, when they host West Virginia Wesleyan in an exhibition game at 4 p.m. at the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown.
WVU opens the season with three straight home games. The team will host Central Connecticut State on Friday, Nov. 10, before welcoming Sacramento State on Tuesday, Nov. 14. Both games will tipoff at 7 p.m. The Mountaineers conclude the homestand on Sunday, Nov. 19, with a 5 p.m. tilt against North Florida at the Coliseum.
After returning from Paradise Jam and the Big 12/SEC Challenge, WVU resumes its rivalry with Pitt on Thursday, Dec. 7. In a 7 p.m. contest at the WVU Coliseum. The team hosts Coppin State three days later on Sunday, Dec. 10, in a 2 p.m. tipoff.
The Mountaineers head south on Saturday, Dec. 16 to host Radford at the Charleston Civic Center. The two will meet at 4 p.m.
West Virginia returns to the Coliseum for back-to-back games, hosting Morgan State on Monday, Dec. 18, and Morehead State on Thursday, Dec. 21. Both contests will tipoff at 7 p.m.
WVU will start the new year at home with conference play as the team hosts Kansas State on Wednesday, Jan. 3, in a 7 p.m. game set to be shown via Nexstar Broadcasting on its statewide TV affiliates, as well as live streamed at WVUsports.com. The Mountaineers then host Iowa State on Sunday, Jan. 7, in a 2 p.m. game on AT&T SportsNet Pittsburgh.
As previously announced, the TCU game on Saturday, Jan. 13, will tip at 5 p.m. on AT&T SportsNet Pittsburgh and FOX Sports Net affiliates.
The Mountaineers host Texas Tech on Wednesday, Jan. 24, at 7 p.m. via Nexstar Broadcasting. As previously announced, the Big 12 title game rematch between WVU and Baylor will take place Sunday, Jan. 28, and will be shown on FS1. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. at the WVU Coliseum.
Texas travels to Morgantown on Monday, Feb. 5, for a 7 p.m. game on FS1. Kansas will follow on Wednesday, Feb. 14, in a 7 p.m. tipoff, while Oklahoma comes to town on Saturday, Feb. 17, for a 3 p.m. game on AT&T SportsNet Pittsburgh.
WVU will cap its home slate on Saturday, Feb. 24, with a 1 p.m. tilt against Oklahoma State.
